Eh? I don't mind being your familiar? Or even just a thing you're in charge of if you were a dragon witch. But I think it's just kinda putting unrealistic standards on yourself to think your life's purpose is to give everyone else what they want? Like, even if that's all you want you're not omnipotent so you're just gonna end up upset? Really, it's just like, a garbage road to go down and you're gonna end up hurting yourself if you haven't already. Like, also, why'd you even get married? If you're an everything witch you should also be everyone's witch, right? As your familiar I like, totally think that's stupid? Your personal happiness is waaaaay more important than like almost everyone else here, and none of them really deserve you even if you were omnipotent?

It's not really being an "everything witch," I think, but if I'm aligned with the sky, then that's what encompasses everything. That's what embraces everything, so I don't really mind getting hurt or upset. I think - um, no, everyone deserves at least this much love from me, so it's fine, isn't it?

[ she shifts her weight against the wall a bit - less resistant and more in the interest of trying to find a comfortable way to rest against it; she's not entirely sure which of the situations they brought up is the one she's in at the moment, but that itself is fine. so long as she can find a way to rest against the wall.

but as she does there's not much she can do but look at him, seemingly unsurprised by the transformation, but there is a tiny bit of color rising to her cheeks ]

[ with enough time and care to it it's something she'd be able to glean some enjoyment from on its own merits; she hasn't really gotten the timing down but whisky's made that apparent enough, the difference between doing it right away and waiting for her to be excited first is like night and day.

so even though there's nothing wrong with this, it's something a familiar of hers is doing for his gratification, she thinks, the cry she lets out is strangled, pained. she can't really help but shrink back against the wall in response. it's a weak attempt to tear herself away from his mouth, hands blanching around the fabric of her nightgown ]

[ he on the other hand, is super fucking into it, even if his wings are beating in annoyance and the thumping of his tail has gone from "excited" to "going to commit a murder". it feels so nice, being able to finally hurt the person who's been stealing his unitmate? it's nice to be stronger than someone, to be feared, that's what a dragon should be.

It's nice to take what's his, too. It's nice to finally taste blood, someone else's, his thing's blood --

and after a bit of tearing at her throat, his tail calms down again, swaying slowly behind him as he releases her, kissing the spot he bit over and over before dotting them down her neck, growling out "mine" with each one. ]

[ of course fear's not entirely accurate on her end. it doesn't really - she doesn't think, at least - worry her, but pain is completely beyond her ability to stand. being alive is fine. being dead is fine, but the inbetween is so unbearable it has tears in her eyes.

even being released she manages mostly heaving sobs in response - the way her condition changes is clear enough in the sound of the noise though, a trembling cry to a choked hitching in her throat as she recalls the time and place, a hurried attempt to muffle her voice in what she can only assume is a dorm full of sleeping people. she's too focused on that to really hear or grasp what he's saying; her breath comes in harsh pants as she gulps down as much breath as she can manage, as quickly as she can manage to get back to being quiet, anything less than that would be rude -

and as he relaxes she winces a bit, writhes underneath him from the way he worries the wound, but there is a tenderness to the kisses that gets a softer sigh out of her, more audible the lower he goes ]
